SELICA is pleased to introduce the E-Series, a new range of Swiss-type CNC lathes developed for customers who need a practical and more accessible machine solution. The E-Series expands our existing product portfolio rather than replacing it. It provides another option for manufacturers entering Swiss-type machining, adding production capacity or evaluating equipment for parts that do not require the most advanced machine configuration.

A Different Product Position

Machine selection should be based on the part, production target and available investment. Some applications require complex tooling systems, multiple Y axes or special machining functions. Other parts can be produced effectively with a more straightforward configuration.

The E-Series is intended for the second type of application. It focuses on the functions required for general Swiss-type turning, driven-tool machining and automated bar production while maintaining a competitive machine cost. Available models and configurations can be reviewed according to the bar diameter, required operations and tooling arrangement.

Production and Quality Inspection

E-Series machines are manufactured through SELICA’s production facility in China. This allows the product line to use a different cost structure and serve customers with a wider range of investment requirements. Before delivery, each machine is inspected and tested according to the confirmed specification. Our team checks the machine configuration, main functions and relevant accuracy items before approving it for shipment. 

Control and Machine Configuration

The E-Series is available with a Syntec CNC control and configurations intended for common Swiss-type machining requirements. Depending on the selected model, the machine can combine turning, drilling, milling and backworking operations. A suitable bar feeder and related accessories can also be prepared for continuous production. The final configuration should be selected according to the part drawing rather than the maximum machining diameter alone.

The E-Series can be considered by customers who:

• Produce small and medium-sized precision components
• Require turning together with basic drilling or milling operations
